ABOUT JNTU(JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY):-

JNTU stands for Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University. Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University was stablished in year 1946. The College of Engineering Vizagapatam was the first name of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University when it was established. The campus of the JNTU is expande over 110 acres in the fastest developing area known as port city in the Andhra Pradesh.

In year 1972, the name of  The College of Engineering Vizagapatam changed to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University.At the beginning The College of Engineering Vizagapatam was affiliated to Andhra University. College started taking participation in moral duties in year 2003. Science beginning Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University take advanced role in the technological growth of the state of Andhra Pradesh.Those student who wants to take admission in the B.Tech have to qualify ECET or EAMCET . And similarly those student who want take admission in the M.Tech have to qualify GATE and PGECET. 

Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University , Kakinada has its three major colleges named as JNTUK Kakinada, JNTUK Vijayanagaram and JNTUK Narasaraopet.
